All versions of Calcium allow for an unlimited number of users, and include basic email capabilities. Basic email is Email Notification - which allows sending email when an event is added or changed - and Email Auditing - which can be used to automatically send email when any activity occurs in your calendars. Email Reminders and Subscriptions are not included; you need to purchase the Email Option for these features.
