Every New Year brings great things…… Shakti Dance Movement and Origins Dance Collective are proud to present…. The Indigo Belly Dance Company and Beats Antique in Honolulu Hawaii for a four day dance intensive and a fabulous show!!! Rachel Brice, Mardi Love, and Zoë Jakes will be teaching a four day intensive: April 9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th, 2009. I will be opening class registration in late January so don't delay reserving your space! Class size is limited and classes will sell out! I really want this opportunity to be for local dancers so please pass this info on to dancers off island and friends who may be interested. All posts will be made via e-mails and on our web site. Apr 12	Sun	PIPELINE CAFE	Shakti Dance Movement and Origin Dance Collective come together to bring the international superstars The Indigo bellydance company and the musically unmatched Beats Antique to the Pipeline Cafe on April 12th. We present a night of luscious dance and intricate sound-scapes that resonate with modern and old world rhythms. Local performers Shakti Dance Movement, Willow Chang, Sangha Dance Theatre, Kajira Djoumahna, Maila and the Belly Dancer’s In Paradise will join them on stage. To end the evening DJ Rhythmstar will keep hearts pumping until morning with his glitchy deep base infused dubstep. This is a rare opportunity and it should not be missed. The event is 21 and over, doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm and will go until 2am. This event is funded in part by the UH Manoa Students Activity and Program Fee Board. Tickets can be purchased at the UH box office and all Jelly's locations and at the Pipeline Box Office. Tickets are 15 dollars pre-sale and 18 dollars at the door. Students will pay only 10 dollars at the UH box office with a current student ID. VIP all access tickets are available at the door for 35 dollars.
